We don't sell bronze, silver, or gold tiers. Every workshop is scoped to your team's situation, so you pay for the hours, materials, and facilitator expertise that match the challenge you're facing. This page explains exactly how we arrive at a figure, line by line.

What shapes the price

Four factors determine the cost. None of them are hidden, and none require you to pick a package that bundles things you don't want.

Facilitator time

Charged per half-day block (roughly four hours including breaks). A single facilitator runs workshops of up to 16 participants; larger groups get a second facilitator, which doubles this line item. Preparation calls, pre-reads, and post-session debriefs are included in the block rate rather than billed separately.

Diagnostic depth

Some teams want us to walk in cold and run a general session on conflict resolution or delegation. Others need a two-week diagnostic first: interviews with each participant, a 360-feedback round, or a culture survey. The diagnostic is optional and priced by the number of participants interviewed, at a flat per-person rate.

Materials and tools

Printed workbooks, psychometric licences (we use Hogan and MBTI depending on fit), digital follow-up packs, and post-workshop action-plan templates. Psychometric licences carry a third-party cost we pass through at our purchase price with no markup.

Travel and venue

If we come to your office, travel from central Scotland is added at cost. If you'd prefer a neutral venue, we have partnerships with two conference centres near Edinburgh and one near Glasgow, and we pass the day rate through without commission.

Typical cost breakdown

Below is a realistic example for a one-day workshop with 12 participants, a light diagnostic, and standard materials. Your quote will differ, but this shows how each line works.

Facilitator (1 full day)

£1,800. Covers two half-day blocks, including a 30-minute planning call one week before and a 45-minute debrief call one week after.

Diagnostic interviews

£600. Twelve 25-minute calls at £50 per participant. Summaries compiled into a confidential brief for the facilitator only.

Printed workbooks

£180. Twelve copies at £15 each, spiral-bound, 40-page custom workbook posted to your office five days in advance.

Psychometric licences

£0 in this example (not requested). If included, MBTI Step II runs £85 per person; Hogan runs £110 per person.

Travel

£95. Standard mileage from our base in Rice-le-Mosciski, Scotland. Overnight stay not required for this venue.

Venue

£0. Client's own boardroom used. Partner venues range from £350 to £520 per day including refreshments.

How an engagement unfolds

Scoping call (free, 30 minutes)

You describe the team, the challenge, and the outcome you want. We tell you whether a workshop is the right tool or whether coaching, mediation, or a different intervention would serve you better. No obligation.

Written quote within 48 hours

A single-page document listing every cost line, exactly as shown in the breakdown above. No bundles, no "starting from" language. The number you see is the number you pay.

Diagnostic phase (if chosen)

Short calls with each participant, scheduled at their convenience over one to two weeks. We compile themes, not transcripts. Nothing is attributed by name unless the participant agrees.

Workshop day

Facilitated at your site or a partner venue. Sessions mix structured exercises with open discussion. We don't lecture from slides. Participants leave with a personal action card and a team commitment sheet.

Debrief and follow-up

One week later, a 45-minute call with the commissioning leader to review observations, share anonymised group-level data, and agree on next steps. A written summary follows within three working days.

Who facilitates

Our lead facilitator, Callum Reedie, spent eleven years managing engineering and product teams before moving into facilitation full-time in 2017. He holds an MSc in Organisational Psychology from Heriot-Watt and is a qualified Hogan assessor. For workshops requiring sector-specific expertise, we bring in associate facilitators with backgrounds in healthcare leadership, financial services compliance culture, and public-sector transformation.

Callum has facilitated sessions for NHS Scotland leadership cohorts, two FTSE-250 subsidiaries, and a handful of high-growth tech companies you'd recognise but whose HR teams prefer discretion.

Every associate facilitator goes through a two-day calibration with Callum before leading a session under our name. We don't subcontract to strangers.

Common questions about pricing and scope

Yes. We charge the same facilitator rate for two half-day blocks whether they happen on the same day or on separate days within a four-week window. The only additional cost would be travel if the second session requires a separate trip.

We reduce the facilitator day rate by 10% when you book three or more days within a 12-month period. Diagnostic and materials costs stay the same because those scale linearly with participant numbers.

Cancellations more than 14 days out incur no fee. Between 7 and 14 days, we charge 50% of the facilitator rate to cover the held date. Under 7 days, the full facilitator rate applies. Rescheduling to a new date within 60 days is free regardless of notice period.

We can, and we did a lot of it during 2020 and 2021. Remote sessions work well for groups under ten who already know each other. For larger or newly formed teams, in-person delivery produces noticeably better outcomes. Remote workshops remove the travel line item and reduce the facilitator rate by 15% because preparation time is shorter.

All figures are quoted exclusive of VAT. We are VAT-registered and will add 20% to the invoice total. If your organisation is outside the UK, reverse-charge rules may apply and we will confirm at quoting stage.
